Nothing can beat the original. Director and Creator Kevin Williamson wanted a title that was a call back to the original but had an added evolution in look and animation to bring it to modern day.

The direction was clear. Starting with the original typography we rebuilt the animation of the original title reveal so we could manipulate and add to it. From there we presented to Kevin and his team different ranges of typography, color, treatment, and animation. Our animators created multiple test mock ups to find what felt right to bridge the opening scenes.

A cornerstone of the horror genre, the Scream franchise look was developed in close collaboration with the filmmakers. The resulting aesthetic honors the established brand while generating excitement for the future.
