Beijing-based Perfect World approached Picturemill to conceive, design, and execute a new logo for their growing feature film and television group. Working closely with the attributes and goals of the company, Picturemill developed a hopeful and human story of a father and daughter helping each other brave the elements to witness a perfect sunrise from a mountaintop. Created entirely in CG, the animation of the father and daughter was hand-animated rather than using motion capture, for a more poetic feeling to the performance.
