Picturemill was invited by director Brad Peyton and New Line Cinema to create the opening & closing title sequences for the stereoscopic extravaganza “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island”.
The creative team designed and animated a photo-realistic visual effect sequence of a hurricane, starting at Earth’s atmosphere and ending above the ocean discovering the title card in as we reveal the Mysterious Island.
For the film’s end title sequence, Picturemill conceptualized and produced a custom Nautilus Navigation Device to take the audience on a journey revisiting some of the locations and creatures from the movie.
