The main title that follows had to be as equally fun to connect the action of the opening to the Los Angeles noir detective style that Frank Drebin Jr. embodies.

We worked closely with director Akiva Schaffer and editor Brian Olds on multiple iterations for the main title card. It needed to hit two points for them: Big Action and End on a Joke. 

Comedy can be all about timing, so we had to work in 3D previsualization as we designed with the filmmakers so it could best be timed out. Too short or too long, the joke can die.
